General Educational Development (GED)

  • Test Centers: Conducted at authorized Pearson VUE centers.
  • Eligibility: Students typically need to be 17+ years old (with SSC or equivalent completed).
  • Preparation: In Pakistan, students must enroll with an authorized GED Prep Provider before attempting exams.
  • Equivalence (IBCC):
    • GED is considered equivalent to HSSC (Intermediate) Humanities Group.
    • IBCC requires a 2-year gap after SSC before granting HSSC equivalence for GED.
    • Students going abroad for undergraduate studies do not need this 2-year gap.
    • For local admissions in Pakistan, IBCC attested equivalence is mandatory.
